| I guess what killed me the
most was hearing them ask
you "did you love her?" and you
shrugging and saying "I thought I did.."
It gets hard to trust anyone
when everyone you have ever
opened your heart to has let you down.
Promise me...that's all I want. Just a
promise that you will never forget me.
Tell me I changed you somehow. Let
me know that I had an impact on your life.
Promise me that you will always remember
me. Losing you was hard enough, but I
don't want to go on knowing I meant
absolutely nothing to you.
She's just a little scared to get
close to anyone because everyone
that said "I'll always be there.." left.
Goodbyes hurt more than
anything..especially when
deep down you know you
will never say hello again.
I think the reason I can't let go of
you is because I'm scared you're
gonna completely erase me from
your head. You're going to forget all
of our memories and everything we
once had. I just don't think I can face that.
Nothing hurts more then knowing
that special person is still in your
heart, but you're not in theirs.
People change, but the
hardest part isn't getting
along with them..it's learning
to get along without them
It's amazing how one day
